Got to Montpelier last night pretty late. We stayed at a hotel. It was a very long drive, but we had to stop a lot on the way to pick up last minute supplies and stuff so future trips shouldn’t be so bad.

We left Searsmont about 3:00 Weds, saw Uncle Steve in Concord while we were picking out a computer then got to Montpelier about 10:30 or so pm. Had wireless internet at the hotel, but it was S-L-O-W! Took about 10 minutes to connect each time. At least we had access I guess.

Today we had orientation at NECI, got our knife kits and uniforms and moved into the dorms. My room is on the 4th floor, but it’s a good sized room. I need furniture to fill it up, but have plenty of space for my Moxie and fishing gear which of course are the most important things.
