Hi! I'm Matt Totman and my professional aspiration is to become an exceptional private chef. I have been attending New England Culinary Institute since September 2007 and it's going really well. My target graduation date is September 2009 unless I decide to pursue a 3-year Bachelor's degree. At this point, my goal is to complete NECI's 2-year Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts.

The cookbook available here for purchase is a compilation of recipes donated by family and friends to help defray the costs of my education. Some are completely original and some are variations of recipes as they have been altered over time and have become family favorites. It is through their generosity that I am able to offer this terrific cookbook. I hope that should you choose to buy the e-book you will enjoy them. I will be keeping a blog during the months that I am in school as well as during my externship. I am not sure yet where I will be going, but the first externship probably won't be far from home so that I can save money toward my second year's tuition. Please check back from time to time to see where I've been and what I've been up to.
